Product story: When the design concept was initially proposed, both the children's slippers and boots were designed based on the new style, using cute designs to express the love of parents. However, after we gained a deeper understanding of the global situation of children, everything changed. The report from the United Nations Children's Fund stated that in 2020, over 3.56 children worldwide were living in extreme poverty. They lacked food, clothing, and even had no fixed residence. Two-thirds of these children lived in families with an average daily income of $1.90 or less. 1.9 dollars? What a concept! It's truly unimaginable!!! Extreme poverty not only leads to malnutrition but is also more likely to cause death. Seeing these shocking figures, can't we be touched? So on that day, we changed our design concept. We used a beautiful pair of boots to represent children who are still living a normal life in this world, and a pair of worn-out slippers to represent children living in extreme poverty. We don't discuss politics or delve into what caused this. We just want people to know about this group and remind them that when we have the opportunity and ability, let's help them.
